MORE ELVES

Hello hello.

I am still obsessed with the elves from Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. I also really like the movie Elf and Dobby. There are so many different kinds of elves!! They don't have much in common either. Ooohh! I just remembered another elf, Slannen from Ella Enchanted. This post is about Thranduil though. Not about Buddy or Dobby or Slannen or even Legolas. Thranduil was my favourite character in The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. He's such a drama queen. Also he has fabulous eyebrows.

I like this drawing better than my last one.

ELVES FOREVER!

P.S. You should listen to this song by Ed Sheeran from The Hobbit soundtrack. It is like listening to magic.

What do your elvish eyes see?

Hello!

I saw The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug two days ago and it was FREAKING GREAT! Benedict Cumberbatch was an amazing dragon and Martin Freeman was a hilarious hobbit, but my favourite thing in the movie was the elves. I love the elves in Lord of the Rings and I love them in The Hobbit. They are so elegant and everything they have is beautiful. My absolute favourite character in The Hobbit was Thranduil, the elf king because he is so sassy. I didn't draw him yet so I will have to make due with a drawing of my second favourite elf, Legolas.

I made him look like a child... Woops. Anyways, there he is with his perfect hair. I love the braids that elves have in the movies. They are always so intricate. Yes, I have an obsession with braids.

That's all for today. Go see The Hobbit.

Knots knots and knots

Well hello there.

I have been absent for 5 days because of school. I had an exam and I was too busy procrastinating my studying to draw. One thing I did while procrastinating was watch these math meets doodle videos that were very interesting and nerdy. What a lovely combination. One of them was talking about squiggles and it inspired me to start drawing squiggley rope knots. That was all I drew for a while. HOW EXCITING! Here they are.

Magical right?

Have a good night.

P.S. I have to put a link to the videos don't I? Yes I do. Here it is.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, YA FILTHY ANIMAL

Hello!

Today it is time to talk about Christmas because I love it. Somethings I like about Christmas are: the songs, the turkey, the mashed potatoes, the family, the presents, the hot chocolate, the sweaters, the lights, the snow, the movies, the Santa, the elves, the food, the food, the pie and so much more. As I am typing this I am listening to the She & Him Christmas album and I am wearing an ugly Christmas sweater. I can't wait!!! I'm going to try and make some of my presents this year, so hopefully that will work out and no one hates what I make. Hahha how awkward would that be. It won't be as awkward as when I bought a stool for someone as a Secret Santa present though. That's always a comfort.

I used a computer to colour this drawing which is something kind of new. I wish I had a scanner to transfer my drawing because my phone isn't the best method.

Have a good day! I hope it snows soon.
Hanna

P.S. Fun fact about me: I end up puking every Christmas. I hope that doesn't happen this year.

Gather Around

Well hello.

I am going to blog about a shape today. Yes, a shape. It is a circle and I love it. They are kind of magical you know. Pi comes from a circle (hooray for math). I have been drawing and doodling circular things for a long time and one day I hope to get a circular mandala tattoo. I love circles so much that I want them on my body forever! I don't have much more I can say about circles, so here are the drawings.

Have a nice night!

P.S. Tomorrow might be about triangles...

No one can catch the mother fucking fox

Hello there.

Sorry for my absence over the last few days. I ran out of pages in my sketch book and it seemed to stall my creative brain. Also I didn't have internet for two days. Any who, today I would like to talk about an animal. Yes, you guessed right, it is a hamster. Ha! Just kidding it is the elusive fox. Have you noticed that they are every where now a days? Not literally, but in fashion and interior design and music (*cough cough* what does the fox say). My personal favourite fox themed thing is the movie Fantastic Mr. Fox. It is one of my all time favourite movies and it is directed by Wes Anderson, of course. I even have a Fantastic Mr. Fox Pinterest board, so you know I'm committed.

This isn't my favourite drawing I've ever done, but it will have to do for today.

That's all folks.
Hanna

P.S. The title of this blog post is a quote from the book Looking For Alaska by John Green.
